Does making a good website helps you to uplift your business? YES! Indeed without a doubt. The very next question will be, by just having a website will it deliver the results you need? Well just as every follow up question the second question is a bit tricky. The short answer will be without a purpose of having it and the strategy behind making it easily found by people who are looking for products and services offered by the company, the website will be just a website.

Wise people say always answer question with another question, so let’s break it into other smaller questions;

How will people see my website?
Will it appear when they search from the services I offer?
Do people have to search it by entering the website the full address including slashes and dots?
Can people search and find me by the company name?
When I typed it on google will it appear on the 1st page or in last page where no one will be bothered to navigate to?

All those questions comes within the theme of how my website can be a “good” website that is visited by many users naturally, without just being a one of the billion websites that exists on internet.

The answer will be website need to be optimized to search engine to deliver as the top results when someone type related keywords, in other words to appear among top few websites in organic search. More the people search for web site, more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users, and why we need visitors is because these visitors can then be converted into customers. This optimization process has become a frequently used buzzword today, which we simply referred as SEO, the Search Engine Optimization.

When it comes to what do we search; SEO targets everything that is included in our daily search list,  different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search news search, and industry-specific vertical search engines. Not only that when it comes to the process of SEO, it considers how search engines work, what our target audience search most frequent in other words what we refer as keywords.
